Okay, so not really the top, but I’m trying to use a theme here. In late October, early November, I took a trip to Auckland, again on family matters. Again I managed to sneak in some airport visits.
Auckland International Airport had some particularly interesting stuff for me.
Airbus A350-900, N513DZ, of Delta Airlines.Boeing 777-200ER, N799UA, of United Airlines.A mixed shot spanning airliners over almost 75 years! (Douglas DC-3 from 1936, Airbus A350 from 2010.)Airbus A320neo, F-ONEA, of Aircalin.Boeing 777-300ER, ZK-OKR, of Air New Zealand waits patiently for Beechcraft A36 Bonanza, ZK-ACO, to depart first.Boeing 777-300ER, 9V-SWM, of Singapore Airlines wears the Star Alliance livery.Boeing 787-9, VH-ZND, of Qantas. I’ve seen this aircraft before but not quite this close.
Phew! That’s quite a haul. There are a total of 22 photos on Flickr, which you can find here.
I also briefly visited Ardmore. Less exciting stuff there, but interesting nonetheless.
It was interesting to see a pair of very similar aircraft parked side by side. Can you spot the differences?

In addition to at least 19 sponsor logos on the port side, it also carries a mark (between the doors) celebrating 50 years of the trust.
You can find all of the photos I took at Ardmore over on Flickr.
